That’s what a good office chair means!
There are few people who know that an office chair or a computer chair was invented two hundred years before advent of personal computers. And it is invented by the US President Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809), who was a congressman and a famous writer in those times.
This happened at the end of the 18th century, when Jefferson bought a Windsor chair and decided to add wheels to it for comfort and speed. We’d like to think that the Declaration of Independence, which was adopted on July 4, 1776, was written exactly on this chair.
Later, Jefferson moved the chair to his place in Virginia, where he had plantations (with slaves). He has been drafting 126 bills for 3 years, including the abolition of the birthright, the freedom of religion and the implementation of a streamlined court system. In addition to this in 1778, on Jefferson’s initiative, a law was passed to ban the import new slaves into Virginia, a draft law on the abolition of the death penalty and many more.
